Jobs

Spencer has been student teaching for almost a year now and in about a month we will find out if he will get hired. We have talked many times about what we would do if he didn't get hired, but our plan  B is Deseret Book since he currently works there now. He went and talked to his manager and Spencer was told if he doesn't get hired they would love to keep him and he could move up in the company. We are anxiously awaiting the hear the news about teaching and to see where life take us.

Valentines Day

The day started out like every other day with us going to school. I got home a couple hours before Spencer did so I cut out a bunch of heart shaped papers and lined them up from the front door to the bedroom where I had a card and some chocolates on the bed. When he got home he knocked on the door and when I answered he gave me a dozen red roses. He then followed the hearts and received his card and chocolates. We then decided to go to dinner, we had a gift card for Outback so we went there at about 5:00 thinking most people wouldn't be going out until later. Well we got there and the wait was 2 hours so we decided to use our gift card another day and went to Fuddruckers since it was close and it wasn't too crowded. We ordered our food and then went and sat in the arcade area and played games until our food was ready. After we ate we decided to go check out Best Buy because Spencer really like the hunting game he played and wanted to see if they had it for the Wii. Best buy didn't have the game so we checked out gamestop. They didn't have the exact game but they had a similar game so we ended up getting it. He wanted to go play it with his cousins Jace and Colton so we went over there and before we played we went to Cold Stone. Once we got back Spencer and Colton played the game until it was time for us to go home. Valentines was a great day!

Spencer and I were married on March 28, 2009. Since then I have been attending school for Child and Family Studies and Spencer has started student teaching seminary. We will find out in April if he is hired. Our hope is he will get hired and we will be able to be close to his family in Utah.
